First licensed in 1988. Current field elevation 1692 feet. Antennas are 40/20 fan dipole, 80m dipole up 35 feet and are homebrew. Solarcon A-99 10m vertical. It works well on 15m !

Homebrew 8 element 2m FM yagi.

I like ragchewing and casual contesting. I use a Ten-Tec Omni ( Made in 1981 according to its serial number ) for CW, you gotta love its QSK. An Icom IC-745 for SSB and digital modes. I also have a Yaesu FT-221 for 2m.

25 JULY 2012 Special thanks to Eric N3TVV for giving me a Cushcraft A144-11 beam antenna. After reassembling it, he and I put it up today in about 10 minutes. Installation went without any problems ( this is a miracle in itself ).

03 NOV 2012 Still recovering from Hurricane Sandy. Lost all HF antennas as a result of downed trees. Antenna wires are intact, just the support ropes broke. The only problem is the 70 foot trees holding the ropes up are down. I really wanted to work ARRL CW Sweepstakes but there is always next year.

11 NOV 2012 All HF antennas are finally up again.

16MAY2013 Finally got my 80M dipole up at 35 feet again. All dipoles are back where they used to be before hurricane Sandy took them all down.

03MAR14 Finally got Triple Play !
