Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa., but I love it here in the Denver area. A long ride in the Rockies on my Harley Road King and working "a new one" are some of my favorite things to do. My long time passion of Ham radio includes many awards on HF, but I'll ragchew with anyone, anywhere.

My battle station: FTDX-5000MP (TX in full-time Class A), Heil Proset HC-4, SDR-IQ w/SpectraVue, SPE Expert 1K-FA linear amplifier (1.2 Kw)

Two computers providing full integration with CAT, panadapter, linear amplifier and Ham Radio Deluxe

Keeping my 30 year old Hy-gain TH-3 on the air. 4 July 2012 and it's 102 deg F (39 deg C) outside (yep, that's me). Optibeam 9-5 next spring. 95' trap dipole for 40 and 80 meter bands.

My son Steven (KDØUUX) and I riding the mountains. Steven rides a GSXR-600.

Riding high into the Rocky Mountains in the spring.

I've been a professional driver for 28 years.
