QSL: BURO.

Licensed since 1967 and operate mostly cw. At 16 years of age I got a job pumping gas and cleaning windshields for 3 weeks to earn enough money to purchase my first transmitter, an Eico 720 kit at The Tydings Company. Being a gas station attendant ended that day. Receiver was an ARC-5 Command. Passing the General Class License at the Federal Building in downtown Pittsburgh I rewarded myself by purchasing a Johnson Viking II and NC-300 receiver.

Below are pics of my station and home where in the spring the azalea's are in full bloom in sunny North Carolina. The picture at the bottom right is of me and Vince Corsini whom I am fortunate to know. At 19 year's of age Vince landed on Omaha Beach, D-Day. He attended the commemorative event held at Normandy when President Reagan gave the ceremonial address. He is presently 89 years of age. Life would be very different in the world today if it were not for people like Vince.

73 to all.
