The picture is N4FV on left, 103 year old Charlie Kayhart W4KKP on right at the 2014 Greeneville Hamfest.

I do most of my operating from a solar powered "shack" on a hill in front of my house.  My coordinates reflect this operating location and you can see the "shack" on the satellite view.  Antennas are Cushcraft 3 element beam up 20 ft for 6 meter SSB, Cushcraft AR6 Ringo above that for FM. I also have a 10 meter vertical (Antron 99), Hygain 10-40 meter trap vertical, and a small groundplane antenna for 2 meters.  This is a continuing project as time and and funds permit.  I enjoy operating on 6 meters the most.

First licensed in 1975 as a Technician, I've held the calls WA4QZQ and KB4UG before getting N4FV.

Chairman of Greeneville Hamfest 2013 and 2014. I will be serving on the hamfest commitee for 2015.

Due to the increased number of scammers hijacking callsigns and defrauding other hams, beware of anyone using my callsign from any other email address other than the one posted here on QRZ.
