I do most of my operating from a solar powered "shack" on a hill in front of my house in warmer months.  My coordinates reflect this operating location and you can see the "shack" on the satellite view.  Antennas are Cushcraft 3 element beam up 20 ft for 6 meter SSB, Cushcraft AR6 Ringo above that for FM. I also have a 10 meter vertical (Antron 99), Hygain 10-40 meter trap vertical, and a small groundplane antenna for 2 meters.  This is a continuing project as time and and funds permit.  I enjoy operating on 6 meters the most.

I also operate from my house when it is cold or the weather is bad.  I have dipoles up for most bands, an Antron 99 for 10, and a 5 element beam for 6.  Most of my HF operating from the house is now done on various Swan radios that I have restored.

First licensed in 1975 as a Technician, I've held the calls WA4QZQ and KB4UG before getting N4FV.

Chairman of Greeneville Hamfest 2013 and 2014. I will be serving on the hamfest commitee for 2015.
