You'll find me mostly on 6m looking for DX, 2m weak-signal, and HF QRP. I especially enjoy digital modes on HF. Now that Cycle 24 is up, I dusted off the old HTX-10, tuned a CB mag mount and dabble in 10m mobile. Fun.

Other activities include SCUBA, bicycling, and looking after my wife's horse -- thank goodness for the horse; she can't complain about me spending too much time and money on my hobby!

I can occasionally be caught working satellites, but not in the traditional ham sense. I periodically pop up on Sirius/XM's "Elvis Radio," on Channel 19, live from Graceland. I suppose my misspent youth as a DJ has come back to bite me. And, this time it's national. Fortunately, it's only part time; usually Sundays from 10am Eastern/7am Pacific. I go by "Dave" on the channel.

Recent accomplishments include: DXCC (HF), QRP/DXCC (HF), WAC/QRP (HF), WAS/QRP(HF), VUCC/6m, and WAS/6m. I have had paperwork done for VUCC/2m and WAC/6m for a while; I need to get those off.
