I have been a licensed HAM since 1964, becoming interested in the hobby while watching my father W4YKC (SK) making DX contacts on six meters. I especially enjoy CW operations and experimenting with the newer digital modes. I presently am operating two Echo link nodes. Node one is on 147.405 MHz from the PBS Amateur Radio Club site near Springfield, VA. The second link is on 146.420 MHz and is located at my home QTH in Dumfries, VA. Both nodes are simplex and utilize a 79.7 Hz sub-audible tone. If you are in the area of northern Virginia, give them a try. Best 73 to all. Bill
