Greetings!

I have been involved in Amateur Radio for over 25 years and still going strong!

I am currently working HF and VHF bands and working on Digital Modes also. The Digital Modes that I enjoy using are: PSK31, MT-63, and Olivia.

My growing radio equipment includes: Kenwood TS-570SG, Kenwood TS-930S, Kenwood TS-530S, and a Kenwood TS-700A and a RigBlaster Plus for digital communications.

My Antennas are: Alpha Delta DX-LB (160, 80, 40 Meters) Inverted V up about 30 feet. My 2 meter antenna is a Commet Antenna up at the top of my 40 foot tower.

My favorite HF Bands are 160 Meters 80 Meters 40 Meters and 20 Meters.

I am also involved in Emergency Communications. I am a member with ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) and I am The Mecklenburg County ARES EC. Along with ARES, I am also a Certified Skywarn Spotter. I also have FEMA Certificates in: IS-100 ( Introduction To The Incident Command System ), IS-200a ( ICS For Single Resources And Initial Action Incidents ), IS-700 ( National Incident Management System ), IS-800b ( National Response Framework ), and IS-802 ( Emergency Support Function "Communications" ), and IS-120a.
