Picture at the top is what the op looked like after working all 40 zones on 160 meters. Started ham career as KG4PHC in 2001, then W4GDC, got my extra class license and applied for N4NN, my current call. I live on 120 acres in North Florida -- northwest of Jacksonville. Primary rig is a FTdx1000D and an Alpha 8410 amplifier. Antennas include a 4 el quad at 100 feet for 12/17 meters, a C49XR at 125 feet for 10, 15, and 20 meters, a XM240 for 40 meters at 135 feet, a half wave dipole for 80 and a T top vertical for 160 with 60 radials. I use a Hi-Z 8-circle array for receive on the low bands. (Works great!) I also have an Icom 746 Pro that I use on 6 meters with a 5 el M2 antenna.
