August 1977 – June 2001 operated as OA4YS from Lima, Peru with a series of homebrew Delta Loops, Quads and an XQ Quad using Drake TR-4s to a pair of 3-500Z. PY2KW, Nelson Pala was a phys. ed. teacher at Avare' C.E.E.N.Cel. Joao Cruz High School. He eventually became the principal and was admired by parents and students. He taught me and other students the first steps of marching band, volleyball and in the art of Ham Radio.
