First licensed in 1988. After the new of 2m wore off, I finished upgrading, passing my Extra test in 1989.

I prefer HF. In May of 2010, after several years of no tower, I finally put one up, along with a Tennadyne T8 at 46 feet.

Inverted L's for 80m, 40m and 30m, and a ladder line fed dipole for 160 round out the antenna selection.

312 worked, still have a ways to go.

In Feb of 2008,I re-discovered the fun of hf mobile. I don't have much of a drive to work, but it does help pass the time on road trips.

So far I've worked 230 since March of 2008 while mobile. Finally got zone 22 for the last zone needed from the mobile.

3W (10m), 7Q, 8Q, 3B9 (40m), 3D2/C, 9U, BV, ER, HV, H40 (30M), JX, KH4, KP5, S7, VP8/H (30m), E4 (30m), VQ9, FR/R (40m), JD1/O (80m), VK9C (30m), XX9, VK0/M, ZS8 (40m), 7O and T5 are some of my nicer catches while mobile.

I also work RTTY mobile on occasion.
