Thanks for taking the time to look at my QRZ page. Hope we had a qso or more lately. And hope 2015 is good for you.
CURRENT LOCATION: Camping on Lake Tawakoni near Wills Point, TX in Hunt County. (20 Jan - ??, 2015)
ARRL CENTENNIAL QSO IS NOW IN THE HISTORY BOOKS! Thanks for all the QSO's friends and it was a great amount of fun to do the Centennial this year. I was only partially involved until around October and then operated full tilt for the last 2 months of the year. I made more QSOs during Nov-Dec than I normally do in a year! Thanks for all the qso My score listed in ARRL at the moment is 194,213 points. ARRL will refigure all the scores and have a final computation later. I use LOTW 100% of QSOs so if you don't see a confirmation check log info and if a problem email me and I will see if it was a busted qso. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE AND MAY 2015 BE A GREAT YEAR. GOD BLESS de N5PHT.
LOG SEARCH - just enter your call to see if we have a qso. I normally upload to Club Log in real time. I also upload to LOTW after every few qsos. (Had to turn off Club Log at times if running a pile-up in CENT - program could not keep up!)

QSL NOTE: Much prefer LOTW but otherwise PLEASE SEND QSL DIRECT ONLY WITH SUFFICIENT RETURN POSTAGE. Please include return postage and thanks. $2 IN FINE BUT IRC IS NO GOOD HERE. IF I AM TRAVELING I WILL RETURN QSLS WHEN POSSIBLE. IF YOU NEED IT FOR SOMETHING CRITICAL EMAIL ME. if you send to me in mail please USE: PO Box 217, Savoy, Texas 75479. ALSO: if you want to just give me the qso info on a scap of paper that is fine and save your expensive QSL cards. I do not collect them any longer and hate to throw out your money! Just give me the details and a SASE and my QSL will be on the way - I still have some QSLs left. I support those that like to collect QSLs but that is just not me any longer.
I have written an article "RVing and Ham Radio" and QST turned it down for publication so my daughter helped put it in a web page if you are interested you can see it here: http://n5pht.weebly.com/ We use a different RV these days since that was written - current Ham Station on the Road:
We sometimes travel in our RV and so far I have operated portable from 18 or more States and it has been fun.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THE LUTHERAN CHURCH (LCMS) PLEASE EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW - TRYING TO KEEP TRACK OF THE HAMS I WORK IN THE LCMS. THANKS - of course your email always welcome even if your not LCMS hi hi
Been a ham since 13 May 1986 and active off and on until about 2000 and very active since then.
Antenna Farm: Tennadyne T8 log at 80 feet on the top of the tower. This covers 20-10 meters. For 30, 40, 80 and 160 meters I use an inverted vee dipole fed with ladder line to a balun and then coax into the shack.
Primary Station: KNWD TS-590S and generally run 100 watts. I have an Ameritron ALS-600 solid state 600 watt amp that I use from time to time. Well, I do love chasing DX and here are my awards thus far on the DX chasing:
73 de N5PHT, Gary Stone
AND - most of all and most important, a Child of GOD. The LORD does not issue certificate numbers because the "first shall be last and the last first." May you find the Lord as He loves you too.
