PSE QSL Direct TNX!

Operating on HF 80m-6m,2m,70cm bands. All Modes, DX and DX Contests for HF/VHF/UHF. Using a Kenwood TS-2000x HF- 1.25cm with at times an Ameritron AL811H (using 811'sx4) or a Swan500cx. Wire antennas(G5RV and Carolina Windom 160) located 50-70ft AGL in the pine trees. Also heavily involved and use Dstar Gateways and Reflectors both via DV(Digital Voice) and DD(Digital Data). I am using at this time a DVdongle, a GMSK Modem, and a VHF DVAP and shortly a UHF DVAP access poin as Hotspots. All my Dstar Hotspots are using a Raspberry Pi as the Linux PC to connect to the Internet. I am working on a Android Linux version Hotspot at this time and a APRX Igate using a Android PC. You can catch me on the REF004, REF030, REF001, and others at times. I use a IC-2820H, a IC-880H, and a IC-91AD on the Dstar Gateways at home or while traveling. I am retired. I also hunt, fish, and generally love the outdoors. I run an APRS Digipeater/Igate via N5VRP-2, N5VRP-7 helicopter (rc), N5VRP-1 Wx Station using TinyTrak4dks and Rtrak 2 systems. My career was embedded realtime systems using many different realtime os platforms. Some of them used my own kernel. I had and still have fun programming in realtime even robotics and such.

I use APRSIS32, UI-View32 and sometimes APRSIS-CE pocketpc for the helicopter flights. Use 2.4ghz Spread Spectrum for heli so as not to interfere with RF telemetry with helicopter.

New tower going up soon (Scratch that idea, decided to 120ft Pine Trees).

Hope to catch you on the air.

73 from the Sabine National Forest in "EM31ck" grid square!

Dennis, N5VRP

P.S. All QSL cards rcv'd. will be replied to with one from me.
