Hello.

I would like to thank you for checking my bio. I have been a ham since 1980 with my first call being KA6GDS, I held this call until upgrading to Advanced in 1982. Then my call changed to what it is now,(N6HEW). I have been at the same physical location form the time Ibecame aham.

My primary interest in armature radio consist of emergency communication and DX. Iam theARRL ARESFresno County EC, and the Fresno County RACES Officer.I have been doing emergency worksince the1980s in oneway or another.I am also involved with the local SATERN (Salvation Army Team Emergency RadioNetwork). As far as DX, I enjoy chasing itbut not on a grand scale. As youcan see in the photos Ihave a small station and enjoy the contacts that I amable to make.

As for my personal life, I am blessed with a wonderful wife for the past 43 years, Vicki (KA6MDM).She has supported me in the hobby for all this time and has gotten a license of her own. We have two beautiful daughters, Heather and Holly, whom we adopted from Korea. They have been the joy of our lives.

The pictures are:

My wife Vicki at the top.

My daughters Heather and Holly in the middle.
