Hello Friends. Thanks for stopping by my QRZ Page. Now living near Los Angeles, California after a three year assignment in Chicago, Illinois. I have been a ham since 1983 and am originally from Riverside, CA. I work as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) in Downtown Los Angeles, CA and manage an IT infrastructure in California, Arizona, and Nevada supporting over 2,000 computer users.
My education includes a Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Maryland, a Bachelor's Degree from California State University at San Bernardino, and an Associate of Science Degree from Riverside Community College.
I am a CompTIA Certified Information Security Professional (CompTIA Security + CE) I am currently on track to obtain the Ic2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification which will be sometime within the next 12 months.
I am married and have two daugthers, ages 8 and 11.
I am on Remote Hams.com, Echolink, ILRP, and All Star Node.
I am an advocate of leveraging technology and IT with the Amateur Radio Hobby, while taking advantage of the lastest innovations to keep hams connected wordwide through the internet highway as a vehicle-- as traditional point to point HF Communications is often unstable.
