HISTORY

I was licensed as Kn7CAD (Novice Class) in January 1958 in Oregon. After working my first DX on 40M as a novice I became hooked on the “HUNT”. I upgraded to General class in Oct 1958 (K7CAD) and to EXTRA class in June 1978 while living in San Jose, CA area and chose N7KA as my new call. I have also had WB6YKM, N7KA/VP2A, J6LKY, VP6MKV, and VP2KAV call signs.

I am active160-2M always looking for DX. I also operate some contests.

I currently have DXCC TOP of HONOR ROLL MIXED, and 9BDXCC, DXCC MIXED, PHONE, CW, DIGITAL (RTTY).
