I owe alot to the gentleman pictured in the middle sitting next to me. He is one of my best friends, Mr. Terry Scott, NV8E. In the fall of 1985, he came to my home and took me to take my Novice Class examination. N8FBB (Fat Baby Boy) Doug Francis (SK) administered my exam. I was fortunate enough to pass my exam and I am very greatful to Terry. I have called him "DAD" for many years, although he is not much older than myself. Alot of people influenced me to obtain my Amateur License, but no one more than he. Thanks "DAD" for all you have done for me. You are the best!!! The photo above was taken at the Greater Cincinnati Amateur Radio Association Hamfest in September of 2011. We had a great time that day-saw alot of ham friends and picked up on some good deals too! free countersfree counters
