Hello from N8SWC..

My name is Ken, I’m located in the state of West Virginia .Im located in a small town called Eleanor. Named after President Roosevelt's wife. Very small community indeed.. The town is located roughly 40 miles due east of the Ohio and Kentucky state line. I have been a ham operator since the early 90's and have enjoyed it ever since. I’m currently enjoying the DXing...But a nice qso is always welcomed as well. This hobbie has given me the ability to talk to so many people and places I would not normally been able to... Anyone wishing to send me a Qso card, feel free to do so, and I will get one back to you. If you wish to send a self-addressed envelope, that’s fine, but I will cover the return postage. I figure if someone is kind enough to send me a QSO card than it's only fair that I cover the return postage back to them.. Currently I’m using a Yaesu FT 2000 D with the Heli PR40 microphone driving an Acom Amplifier..One of my antenna's is a OCF dipole not really located in the best of places, but to my amazement it seems to make the contacts. And as of mid June 2014 I have been able to put a KIO HexBeam on the air. Have the beam mounted on a 52 foot crank up tower. Generally have it around the 42 foot mark and its been a great change for me.Its really help bring the signals in better .And has helped on the transmit as well. I’m a animal lover by nature and have several little critters running about. As on my picture here on QRZ, my buddy is a Amazon Blue Front Parrott. His name is "Bill", and quite the character, He keeps me and the other animals in control. Well I wish everyone 73's and a Blest Day. I look forward to speaking with you again in the future. Ken..... N8SWC
