Welcome to my ham shack. A lot has changed since this picture, but I leave it as a reminder as to what can be done in three years time. I bailed out of the hobby for about 10 years, and got back in the swing in January of 2003. With only a dual band mobile, a multiband verticle, and that was it. In three years, I now have more junk that I can imagine.

Back into the swing again, I am doing what I enjoy most. Since returning I have brought at least a dozen new hams to the area. I enjoy teaching ham classes. Although some things has changed, the fun of it is just the same.

Equipment:

Kenwood TS2000S Yaesu FT-736R and FT-767GX Kenwood TL922 Amp & Electra II Amp TH7DXX at 85' - 6 Element 6 Meter Beam at 90' K5GW 17 Element 35' Boom 2 meter antenna at 122' (Waiting on the 22 Element 432 Mhz beam going 120')

On June 10 and 11th, (VHF Contest), look for myself and Don, WA9KRT to be in Kentucky running 2, 6, and 440 Mhz from EM87, a very rare grid.

My other contribution to ham radio, is now our small community has it's very own 2 meter repeater. Over the past two years, I have constructed a complete system, with all the bells and whistle's. With Echolink, and soon IRLP, a 440 Mhz remote base, Weather Alert System, Local Weather Annoucements, and Remote Receive Sites. If your in the area, stop in for a chat. 145.410- PL 131.8 And the 442.000 PL 131.8 repeater is now back on the air, after a long overhaul.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you on the bands.
