QSL image for NC4MI

I have been a Ham for over 43 years. I have held several calls, WL7HGL in Alaska, WN3VEX in Delaware, WN3VEX/VQ9 in Diego Garcia, KB4MIL in N.C. and then when I upgraded to extra I got the vanity call of NC4MI. I really like to work the contests and DX. I currently have 272 confirmed for my DXCC. My favorite modes are PSK-31 and PSK-63 and this is where you will probably find me currently. I am now trying a new mode to me "RTTY". I work all of the bands including 6m Digital. My other hobby is HO Scale model railroading. I presently have a 16 by 8 ft layout set up in our 2 car garage, plus I collect HO scale engines and passenger cars. I just completed an Amtrak Phase I Passenger Train set. All of the Passanger Cars have the interiors installed. I'm planning on installing lighting in them this winter. I also sing in our Choir at Meadowbrook Freewill Baptist Church in Black Mountain, NC. My wife of 52 years (Marie) and I have lived in the area for 33 years and love the mountains of NC. We have 2 grown children, 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. I served 20 years in the military and retired in 1980. I have worked several Electro-Mechanical Engineering jobs in the local area and went into full retirement in 2004 for medical reasons.

Equipment: Icom IC-756 Pro

Then a Force 12 C-4 Beam at 62 ft.

In the trees is a 160m Center Fed Dipole at 60 ft.

Also I just finished a homebrewed Ladder Line Verticle for 10 and 15 meters. It is ground mounted.

Member of YLISSB System #14551 and TFO#318. 10-10#41896,

OMISS#2888 My 30MDC # 2492, DMC # 2328, DOS # 655, EPC # 7671, 070 # is 1023

I QSL 100%. Please furnish a SASE or IRC (new type) Correctly stamped.

I support the DX Code of Conduct. I wish everyone did.
