Ham Member Lookups: 16600

I have been a Ham for over 43 years. I have held several calls, WL7HGL in Alaska, WN3VEX in Delaware, WN3VEX/VQ9 in Diego Garcia, KB4MIL in N.C. and then when I upgraded to extra I got the vanity call of NC4MI. I really like to work the contests and DX. I currently have 287 confirmed for my DXCC. My favorite modes are PSK-31 and PSK-63 and this is where you will probably find me currently. I am now trying a new mode to me "RTTY". I work all of the bands including 6m Digital.  I also sing in our Choir at Meadowbrook Freewill Baptist Church in Black Mountain, NC. My wife of 54 years (Marie) and I have lived in the area for 34 years and love the mountains of NC. We have 2 grown children, 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren and another on the way. I served 20 years in the military and retired in 1980. I have worked several Electro-Mechanical Engineering jobs in the local area and went into full retirement in 2004 for medical reasons.
