Thanks for checking out my QRZ page. I am fairly new to Ham radio. Only been around for a little more than 20 years. I received my vanity callsign in 2004. Although my license list my first name as James, I go by Jim. I am retired from the U.S. Navy after serving for 20 years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Tech (EOD) and Navy Deep Sea Diver. I was also a Navy Master Parachutist. I am a member of the Navy Explosive Ordnance Association. (NEODA). Replace the "O" with a "0", and you have my callsign.

I enjoy ragchew, Dxing and contesting. I have no awards or plaques hanging on the walls of my shack ,and I'm not looking for any; however,I do collect QSL cards and guarantee 100% return of any received. NO SASE, green stamps or IRC's required. Remember QSL 100% - LoTW, eQSL and Direct, do not send money or IRC's, I'll send it back. With my QSL card, of course.

I am an active member of the Pueblo West ARC. Check us out at NA0PW on QRZ.com. or visit our web page at http://www.qsl.net/na0pw

Besides radio, I also enjoy reading, fishing, golf, gardening and riding my motorcycle.

My main radio is an Icom IC-7600 and back-up is an Icom IC-706 Mk IIG; I use a HEIL Pro Set Elite ic and Icom SM-20.

Antennas consist of a Cushcraft A3S up 33 ft. (10m), a Cushcraft MA5V at 16 ft and a G5RV at 30 ft

My QSL cards are designed and printed by Amanda Alden K1DDN . Peak Printing, Inc., Canon City, Co. (719) 275-2136. Visit Amanda on QRZ.COM
