I have been a licenced ham for over 60 years by God's grace! This above pix is of me in Brazil operating as I do every year from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil on the beautiful Bay of All Saints, with the call PY6ZRW, which is fun and interesting to be a DX station. I do speak fluent Spanish and Portuguese. This helped me to woo a Brazilian lady as my present wife. She is my "Amazon Woman," very strong, beautiful and inteligent. I thank God every day for her! I like to work DX and local rag chewsfrom my home base in Sunland, CA USA. At present I am using a Yaesu FT 2000D barefoot or with an Alpha Linear 78 feeding a Cushcraft triband. A4S, but I have a long term project to build a 4 element Delta Loop for 20, 17, and, 15. Lucy, my wife, and others will be a BIG help to finalize this and mount it on my 50 ft. Triax crank up tower. This is a leap of faith because I don't know how it will finally be possible to get this beast up. This is what ham radio is really all about.
