What's this?...
I was first licensed in 1972, using a crystal controlled DX100, Hammarlund HQ-160, longwire and straight key. The first big station upgrade was my dad letting me use his automatic keyer from his days as first radio officer on the SSUS followed by a 4 element spider quad
Nowdays the station setups is:
Primary rig: Icom 756pro
Second rig: Icom 765 for when I work SO2R
Antennas: M2 10-30LP8 log periodic which you can see on the QSL card
Carolina Windom 160
M2 6M5X for 6m.
Software: DXLab
I am a life member of the ARRL and 10-10 International.
I can be found anywhere from 160 to 6m on various modes.
Thank you for stopping by, and hope to run into you on the bands!
