Previous callsign: NP3JG I was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico 1980. Family of four on which I am the only ham radio operator. I graduated High School at Colegio San Anonio Abad, Humacao. After that I went on to study at Purdue Univesity majoring in Biology and Pre-Dentistry. I was part of W9YB Purdue Ameteur Radio Club. I graduated Dentistry at University of Puerto Rico and Pediatric Dentistry from The Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, specialized in Orthodontics at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, Stony Brook, Long Island, NY. Currently in private practice in Orthodontics and Professor at University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine
From 2005-2008 operated from Long Island, NY as NP3JG/W2 with an indoor 20M bazooka. In 2008 I moved to Puerto Rico and changed callsign to NP4G. I have been operating HF with an 80M dipole. In Jan 2010 upgraded to a 2 element cubic quead antenna monobander for 10, 15,17, and 20M. Upgraded the radio in May 2010 to an ft-2000D. Conected an 80M Dipole in October 2010 and now working also 30M-40M and 80M. Have been operating casually on the bands with SSB, Digital, and CW. Bought an Amp AL-1200 in late 2010 and it helps a lot! Summer 2011:Moved to a new home with Antenna restrictions so moved qth to my parents. A very Nice QTH by the Atlantic Ocean in the Sourtheastern part of Puerto Rico. Antenna is abour 80 feet up. Current antena is Force 12 X-31R. I am now in the process of setting up a Kenwood TS-480HX for remote operation from my home using RemoteRig interfaces. Thanks Santa Claus!!!
New projects coming up. Will set Bazookas for 60,80 and 160M (thanks Santa Claus) The 40M antenna will probably be a Yagi. GOOD DX!!!! If you are working me and sudenly I go QRT I apologize, I have two small children that need my atention. Hope to catch you in the LOG. I am a member of the Puerto Rico Amateur Radio League -- visit our portal at www.prarl.org
