Licensed since 1961, I spend most of my time on 20, 17, 15, 10 and 6 meters.
My station is modest with a homebrew 5 band vertical with a decent ground system (16 radials and a 9 ft, square metal plate) and this antenna has a 10M radiator 9" away, a 12M radiator 10" away and 15M radiator 12" away from the 17M/20M section that are excited parasitically. The 17M/20M main section uses a retuned Hustler 20M trap for 17M. Each of the 5 bands operates as a resonant antenna and VSWR< 1.5:1 for each band as well.
6M uses a 2 element ZL special. 70 cm uses a Comet collinear at 10 ft.
The equipment in the shack is an Icom IC-7410 an an Ameriron ALS-600 600W amplifier.
My preferred band is 6M and I have been operating it for over 50 years (although I am now between rigs). I have 50 MHz WAS #415 and I am always open for a 6M contact. I have 117 countries confirmed on 10M SSB but I need to apply for DXCC (I have been procrastinating for 20 years!).
I will QSL direct or via the bureau. I do not care for eQSL.
