Previously held calls: KA7BYL [Novice, 1977, Port Orford, OR], N7DWH in early 80 after General upgrade. Sometime thereafter it expired I have no idea when... Nov 2001-March 7th 2002, KG4PYM, a few months, Vanity W3DCG after that until April 2005, finally NT4XT. There had been an over 22+ year gap from KA7BYL until KG4PYM- and boy had things changed!

Some day I'll have the time to work a whole contest... but this trip sure is a blast whenever I can get on, Low Power, QRP or other!

My Uncle, (KH6CWQ, WB6BWZ, now K4AQ) has an FT 817, which inspired me back into the hobby. Working DX on 30m with 5W and a wire thrown out the window into a tree, after having not touched even a ham magazine in over 22 years, was a real kick.

KG4PYN and I took our exams together at the 2001 Stone Mt.Hamfest.
