I have been a ham since June of 2010. I have been working in electronics (USN, Hughes Aircraft and Elevator Service) until I retired in 2011.

My father W6NIU was a ham in the 40's and 2 of my brothers are Extra class hams AE6HB & AE6GO.

                     The Boys

                                           Left to right-Me (AE7JB), Lee (AE6HB) and Randy (AE6GO)

I enjoy DXing and rag chewing.

As far as QSL's I respond 100% with no need for an SASE. I prefer eQSL (eqsl.cc) and I also use the Bureau, Lotw, Club Log, Hrd Log, HAMQTH and QRZCQ so others can verify contacts.

This is my 3rd callsign (something I am not proud of). I was issued KF7JMY and changed to NZ7J when I got my extra. I buckled under pressure from local hams (they liked and were used to KF7JMY) so I changed to AE7JB. I plan on this being my last callsign.
