Hi und danke für den Besuch. Siehst du die schöne QSL rechts oben? Willst du sie haben? Ganz einfach.

Hi and thanks for visiting my page. Do you see this nice QSL in the top right corner? Do you want to have it? It is so simple. Just have a QSO with me, then send your QSL card to me and you will receive mine in return. Please use the bureau, just in cases where you cannot use the bureau at all, you may send it "direct". In this case, send me an e-mail. The reason why I prefer the bureau is simple.... There is no post office in my village. My new QTH is in Flora Fauna OEFF-077. The locator remains the same as my former QTH - JN78TP.

I was active for the award Ski World Championship in Schladming Austria. You had to work OE2013-stations, but ... You needed "normal" OE-stations, too. I had no OE2013-callsign, I used my own callsign, but it counts 100 % for this beautiful award. See the web for rules. I made 3400 QSOs. All QSLs have been sent via the bureau.

Here is a part of my collection, HI HI

I also collect coins. For example the U.S. quarters, because of the different states on the reverse side. I have collected 17 quarters so far. So you see there are lots of quarters missing :-)

My membership numbers: EPC 8131 --- 30MDG 5155 --- DMC 04604 --- NDG 0952 --- BDM 2211 --- CDG 755 --- BARTG 8748 --- HPC 292 --- KDR 1082

Please pay attention!! I am NOT QSL-manager for OE3XVM or OE3XVN. I don't know these two stations. The only station I manage is OE3XVW. Please be careful when writing cards. QSLs with wrong callsign will be returned.

Hi and thanks for the nice QSO we had.

If you think you have nice coins for my collection, please send QSL directly to my adress. The QSL policy about QSL via bureau mentioned below is NOT for you :-)

My name is Alex, I am 37 years old and I operate mostly from Altenburg near Horn, which is a small village in the North of Austria, near the border to Czech Republic. My QTH is just 3 km from Horn. The foto shows Altenburg, seen from the sky. It is my new QSL-card.

Sometimes I operate from Vienna's 10 th district,using the callsign OE1DMA.

I started my hamradio career in 1993 when I obtained my SWL call OE3-01019. In October 2000 I've passed the first exam and received my call OE3DMA. This was only a VHF/UHF-licence. In May 2002 I upgraded to HF after passing a CW-exam. Besides the radio I like listening to different kinds of music, eating and drinking (cold beer for example:-))

I have been workingas receptionist in a hotel for 6 years. I had a lot of time for the radio hobby those days. Unfortunatelly that hotel was taken over by a new chief management, and so I had to leave. There are not many jobs in my area, so I decided to go to Vienna. Now I work for the Austrian Ministry of Finance, always looking for a possibility to have more time for the radio again.

There's not much time left for being active, but if you're lucky, you can hear me giving points in several contests throughout the year or you can find me calling CQ.

I like Sporadic E very much, so I try to use the 12 and 10 metre bands as often as possible. If you hear me, please give me a call. I like PSK31 as well, so you might possibly find me calling CQ in this mode, too.

About QSLing.... I like collecting QSL cards. If you like to QSL with me, that's no problem, but please, if anyhow possible, try to send the card VIA BUREAU. The reason is quite simple... I pay the fees for the bureau every year, so I try to use it, as often as possible. Answering a bureau card is no work, while answering a direct card is a lot of work. envelopes, stamps, writing adresses and so on...... So, please, if you want to do me a favour, use the bureau. Of course I answer direct QSLs as well, but bureau-cards are always preferred. I am a coins collector, so if you decide to send your card "direct", please help me with my collection and add some small coins from your country. I have a lot of used stamps to exchange. So if you need some, you're welcome to contact me.

Well, at the end of my small biography, let me wish you 73, merry christmas, happy New Year, happy Easter, nice holidays, a hot and sunny summer, good luck in DX-ing or whatever you like to have :-)) Alex
