LAPUA RADIO CLUB was founded in 1962. There are nowadays over 40 members in the club from Lapua and the nearby district.

OH6AC, the club-station, is located high on the top of Hill Simpsiö at 130 meters which provides ideal circumstances for amateur radio activities. The club maintains HF amateur radio station and repeaters on 1200, 430 and 50 MHz. Electronic projects are an important part of club activities.
