Hi, thank you for looking up my profile! Please visit my web page. About meFirst, I became registered SWL on 8th November 2010 as OK1-36349. I was listening to everything in air including commercial radio, air traffic and amateur radio. I was really interested in HF bands especially when propagation made possible hearing some DX stations. I also got some nice QSL cards as SWL. (Please respond to every SWL card you get, it really is a big motivation for the people.) Then I passed the HAREC exams and I am now licensed as OK1BIL since 1st May 2011. So, please be gentle with me. Besides HAM radio I study Informatics on Faculty of Applied Sciences and I work as IT support in one local company. What I am interested inI simply love building antennas. I made some wire dipoles and verticals, lightweight 2m/70cm DK7ZB yagis, 1/4 GP for Airband, 2m Super J-pole, a discone antenna. I especially like designs from cheap, leightweight and unusual materials. I also love portable operation. So I take my car or my bike or a backpack and go somewhere out. My QSL card says it all. What I would like to do is to work some LEOs satellites. I had real fun listening to them as SWL so I am looking forward to work them.
