Started as HAM in age 13, since 15 own license OL3AXS. Main activity on 160m and 17m CW, contests, DXing. In 1982 received 'full ticket' - OK1DXS. Since 1990 also OK4DXS/mm (radio officer in Czech merchant navy). 1994 call changed to OK1DX (also OK1DX/mm). Member of radio club OK1KQJ (contest call OL3A), HSC, INDEXA, BCC, DXCC (9 bands, HR#1, HR CW, RTTY). Other interests - digital modes, satellites, electronics. FCC callsign KF9VM. Current occupation: programmer (industrial automation).
