This picture was taken during Xmas 2002. Rainbow unusual at this time of the year, there was no rain at all!

OL5E is my new contest call since 2002. I like contests, but also general DXing and chats on HF or VHF. My hobby is to construct home made rigs and antennas etc. Except these,I have using: HF: Icom 706 VHF: Yaesu VX-5, Icom IC-207 Ant: Inv Vees, Quads, 3el Monobander for 21 Mhz and many others ant. now.

I like to test new ant during portable operations mostly on contests (my base QTH in Brno is vy bad)

My favorites bands: Ten and Six Meters

I started this fascinated hobby at age about 12 wanted to know what is beyond 16m shortwave of my fathers old tubes receivers! It took me long time to get on Ten, I developed many measuring equipments (GDOs, Antennascopes, Keyers, Ant. Tuners and of course TCVRs)

My best TCVR: Home made with tubes, front end with Xtal filters for 40m and 4 tuned circuits for 160 to 30 meters. Transvertors for upper bands. Later in mid 80's same filosophy with VMOS FETs.

Hobbies exept electronics (which i share with my XYL Dana (nonham), Music (mostly classical and ethnic), filosophy, literature, traveling, Admiring life (See that foto on qrz.com for OK2SPS)

Job: Electronic engineering, Computer science, Geophysic See: http://www.agico.com where my email: REMOVE_IT_psilinger@agico.cz

I am travelling a lot ww (operation from BA9GA and BY1PK), for installation of our equipment, so see you sometimes for eyeball QSO.

Thanks to all I already visited, you are welcome in our country.
