Ex: DA1LDN - DA4MDH 1996 to 2003 TY4JM 2003 OD5/ON4JM 2007 + 2008 My qth :Province of Luxembourg (LU) HF antenna is only a 10m wire along a fiberglass mast with 350m radials in the ground. Antenna works well from 160m to 12m but not qro on 10m where I use an home made 1/4 wave vertical at 8m with 3 radials. Here is a my dxcc situation beginning end 2002 date when I came back from Germany. I had to (re) start my dxcc as a new comer when I moved from DL to ON because all dxcc worked from DL are not valid with my ON4JM callsign. So this dxcc summary from 03 03 2012 is done with 100w and my simple wire gp. ( cw and ssb )
Since May 2012 I use a Hexbeam (20m to 6m) ten meters up. I must say that dx'ing is much more easy and breaking piles up also. The signals are much more stronger. This antenna brings me a lot to my station. I still keep my vertical wire for the lower bands. On the 23 June 2012, I worked V73NS on 15m cw. An ufb surprise for me and thank to the new antenna. I cannot imagine how it must be more easier and easy with an amplifier. Hi. But I don't have any one. Here's another dxcc summary. The information is usefull for the higher bands of course. I was able to work 3D2GC,3D2C,PT0S and recently TX5K ,9M4SLL and 5W0M ( tnx guys ) always without any PA. But with patience and listening
