my 4x 12 element "LFA PLUS2" by G0KSC, first time used in april 2011, dismantled in june 2014 after about 100 EME contacts on 144MHz. to be qrv on higher bands i will replace soon with new antennas for 2m, 70cm and 23cm.
3 meters parabolic dish, prime focus, made in China. Thanks to PE1RAH. The mast is located on a spot south of the house to cover as many of lunar visibility posible. The tower is galvanised and poured full with concrete.
The outdoor steering box to turn the antenna manually. slow/fast changes the voltage to the motors. The 2 inductive sensors protect the 2 outer maximum positions of the azimuth motor. The azimuth motor is all second hand gear, made from a garageport motor, a small gearbox and a big gearbox with a total transmission of 1/60.000, making the azimuth rotor turning nice and slow for precision.

Actuator HARL 3618+ for elevation. I chose not to use the reed contact but instead make a box with weight. It has inside 2x 6200 stainless steel bearings and a 1kg stainless steel weight, turning a HH12 encoder, making it a very precise readout. Wind has little or no effect and i see movements to 0.2 degrees. On the back of the dish is a room for PA-box yet to be installed.

this is a mini setup for 2m and 70cm right hand circular polarisation
the cables leaving the shack are for the tower and the 23cm EME dish
