My mother told me that I was changing the programs on her radio since I can walk.

After listening as SWL NL998 to utility and ham radio I got my license in 1975. I like DXing

and contesting on HF and VHF. In the national amateur radio organisations I was

SWL manager, contest manager and 10 years local club president (nol.uba.be).

Since I am retired I help as a volunteer the organisation "Doctors without Borders"

(www.msf.org) with their radio communication from the Brussels office as well as

in the field. I visited fot them RD Congo, Kashmir, Darfur, South Sudan, Haiti, Burundi, etc.

to set up HF and VHF communication in their projects.
