Being very passionate about CW. I do hope that this great art is never lost and would encourage anyone of any age to take time and effort to learn this very rewarding and enjoyable skill !
The above picture was taken while I was at Les Minquiers reef IOTA EU-099. Licenced in 1978, I was one of the youngest OM's in Belgium. First tranceiver was a FT-101E and some wire antennas. Got my dxcc "very soon". After a little longer time hi, my wall in the shack is now decorated whith the "most wanted" awards like: 9BDXCC - 8BWAZ(only need Z31 on 160m) - honor roll and so on... ( only need P5). I am very proud of this because I did it all barefoot and in CW ! Member of WRC : WWW.QSL.NET/ON4WRC/ PS: I wkd RA0FF for zone 19 on 160m ( 20/01/2015) . qsl rcvd and on his way to CQ Magazine .
Another hobby is racing with Italian motorcycles like Ducati, but thats another story...
