About me

My main radio is the Yaesu Ft-950 wich has the FH2 and DVS6 Options and the SP2000 as speaker. I use it for SSB and digital modes as RTTY JT65 and PSK31. I have the MD-100 deskmicrophone connected to this radio. My backup radio is the Icom IC-706 MK II HF-VHF Radio. I still use it mostly for 80,40,6 and 2 meters. To power both radios I use two Diamond GSV-3000's switched power supplies. For VHF local FM communications or repeater work I have a Yaesu FT-7800R and an Old Kenwood TS-700G 2m allmode and the last one only for 70cm I use a Kenwood TM-441E. To control the antenna I use the rotor of Yeasu G-1000. For antenna on HF I using a 3 el for 10,15,20m about 21m(69ft) Highand another one also a 3 el for 12,17m about 23m(75ft) Highabove groundlevel and monoband delta loops for each band on 30 and 40 meters around 19m(62ft) on top, on 80 meters I use a Inverted V Dipole about 19m(62ft) above the ground. For VHF/UHF a simple vertical of diamond X-300 about 17m(55ft) high and 90cm parabolic for 23cm and a 90cm parabolic for 13cm.
