Special call sign celebrating the 110th birthday of OM Ernst, the "original RAEM".
With this activity throughout 2013 we seek to remember Ernst and his dedicated life’s work as “the father of wireless in the Arctic”. He was a CW only man, adventurer, researcher and a great leader! His achievements in wireless communication truly inspired numerous amateur radio operators of today to pursue this wonderful hobby of ours which so many of us enjoy and can be traced back to Ernst T Krenkel and his inspiration and efforts to get the “The message across continents the world and beyond”. This card is to commemorate and salute him
Let us continue in his spirit and make others aware of our wonderful hobby to join in and pursue:
