OX1B has ben QRV againg from Sarfannguit 15.01.2015. Conditions are not good here. Most of the time the radio is dead at all bands. Quite different from my last QTH in Eastgreenland.
Sarfannguit is located central West Greenland. 40 km east of Sisimiut/Holsteinsborg, and 110 km west of Kangerlussuaq/Søndre Strømfjord -the main airport of Greenland.
I came to Greenland first time in 1985 stayed untill 1994. Made ny ham licence here in 1993 as OX3HU. Returned to Denmark as OZ3HU,and stayed there untill August 2011, when I returned to east Greenland. From 2015 QRV from West Greenland.
I work as teacher in the settlemet Sarfannguit (pop. 125) 40 km east of Sisimiut (pop. 5600) In 2012 I changed my call to OX1B.
I speak Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Greenlandic, German and English +some Dutch and Romanian. I will not speak English with Scandinavian stations !!!.
