Hello my Name is Regin what's yours ? Hehe

Been interested in rf/electronics since late 80's when i got a Sommercamp cb radio at the age of 8.

Main rig is an Elecraft KX3, Heil headset and a ~100 ft random wire antenna.(10 ft vertical rest slooping)

Yaesu FT-897D used on 2m/70cm (Repeaters and satellites)

i have a Yaesu FT-817D + T1 atu. not used sicen i got the kx3.

Icom IC-2GXAT(seldom used) and a Yeasu vx-8ge.

hf antenna system is a 100 foot wire so dont be asking about rotating it hehe.

Diamond whip for 6m/2m/70cm

I Am active whereever i can get usable SWR.

KX3 tuner is good, 100foot wire connected directly to the bnc let's me work 160 trough 6m with out a hitch.

Latest addition to the shack is a KX3, what a wonderful radio it is, it's great. truly is.

ahead of the 817 and 897, the only thing the kx3 lacks here is (2m)/70cm.

And a Heil headset, i love it, very comfy to wear and sounds great, also has a fine microphone.

I Do a bit of everything, Phone, Morse and Digital.

When i send a 559 or even a 599 it's a real report even if i asked for your call 20 times. i have yet to master the art of receiving CW you see!

I'll probably manage to copy a call and rst and maybe a name but when it get's much beond that i tend to loose the thread.

(Sending cw s the easy part, receiving on the other hand is a bit harder.)

ft-817 with the homemade tuner/matcher, iambic key, a ~6ah 3cell lipo pack and a CAT interface! :P
