Been a HAM since 1980,and have worked mostly with homebrewed gear - both on HF and VHF.  But in the summer 2005,when I was retired from the ROYAL DANISH AIR FORCE after 42 years of service, I bought a YAESU FT-897D and a LDG AT-897 antennatuner, put up a GAP TITAN DX vertical antenna, and really enjoyed having time to be a ham again.

My primary transceiver is a YAESU FT-2000D with 200 watt output. I have sold my linear, due to many problems in the neighbourhood with BCI.

I have  a YAESU FT-1000MP as back-up, and it's also a very nice rig to work with.

I live at BORNHOLM ISLAND (IOTA EU-030), it is in fact the easternmost part of DENMARK, the island is situated between SWEDEN and POLAND.

So my equiptment at present time:

YAESU FT-2000D + Yaesu MD-100 deskmike

YAESU FT-1000MP + Yaesu MD-100 deskmike

YAESU FT-897D

Homemade HF-Transceiver

Homemade VHF-Transceivers

and 3 different HT

Antennas: GAP TITAN DX Vertical(10-80 m), + Endfeed longwire for all bands.

For 6 m: ECO Ringo

I am not a contest guy - more for ragchewing.

I have worked some digital modes, but to be honest - I find it quite boring.
