DXing

I am licensed since 1989 and into VHF and UHF DXing for about ten years. Inspired by PA3DZN, PA3FLL (SK) and others I seriously started chasing DXCC's on HF in 2000. My current score is 338 out of 339 DXCC's (342 DXCC's including deleted). Only need KH3 Johnston Island, just one away from #1 Honor Roll. I like all modes but my favourite is CW.

Contesting

I enjoy contesting once or twice per year from my home QTH. With a modest setup I was able to set the current CQWW CW European record 10 meter low power and #5 worldwide (2014). I also join national and international teams for the CQWW and CQWPX contests. It gave me a chance to meet new friends and and learn from some of the best contesters from around the globe.

QSL from PA1CC

  • I no longer collect QSL cards but will answer yours. Send your QSL via the buro or direct and I will respond;
  • All QSO's are/will be uploaded to LOTW;
  • No Clublog OQRS for PA1CC.

QSL from PJ2/PA1CC

  • I do not need your card but will answer yours. Send your QSL via the buro or direct and I will respond;
  • However, the easiest way for you and me is to use Clublog OQRS;
  • All QSO's are/will be uploaded to LOTW.

General rules for QSLing

  • I will QSL only once per band/mode combination. Do not send me 3 cards for our 3 QSO's on 10cw!
  • I will not answer automatically generated (contest) QSL's. Stop wasting time, money and paper!
