Hello All,

My name is JAN PRUMMEL (71 years old) and I'm living in Sappemeer, a small village 15 km east of the city of Groningen (in the northern part of the Netherlands). I'm licensed since 1982. In 1991 I did my examination in the highest CW standard in the Netherlands. Since I've got the full license my call is PA2PRU (included morsecode).

I have worked almost 40 years in the newspaperbusiness. First as typographer and journalist and after that the last 22 years as manager prepress. (The name of the newspaper: Nieuwsblad van het Noorden/Dagblad van het Noorden)

Now - because I'm retired - my wife (Greet is her name) and I we are doing all the nice things we can think of. A lot of time I pay attention to the radio-hobby. Mostly in CW-mode and PSK31, sometimes in phone.

My equipment:

******* Tranceivers:

Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark-V Field

HF 100 Watts with build in automatic tuner

Yaesu FT-897 HF/VHF/UHF - 100-50-20 Watts with LDG AT-897 autotuner

Yaesu FT-8900 Quad-band trx - 10/6/2/70 50-35 Watts

****** Antennas:

DUAL BEAM PRO rotary dipol for 40* - 30* - 20 - 17 - 15 -12 and 10 m.

My friend Engelhard (PA3FUJ/SM6XVI) busy assembling the antenna

Engelhard (PA3FUJ/SM6XVI) almost ready with assembling.

The Dual Beam Pro in the air

The balun for the antenna

Home made inverted-V (model ZS6BKW) for 80 - 40 - 20 -15 and 10 and WARC-bands

mostly for the lower bands

Comet vertical for 2 meter and 70 cm

Antenna-rotor: Yaesu G-450C

******* Paddles:

Vibroplex Iambic de Luxe

The Black Widow

Bencher Iambic silver

Home made paddle

Home made "wooden" paddle

Japanese half-automatic bug

Paddles: Vibroplex Iambic de Luxe, Bencher silver plated, the very nice "black widow" paddle, several home-brew paddles and also two Junker straight-keys. My keyer is a Logikey K3.

TELEREADER CWR-685E - my assistant in bad CW-days.

******* Computer:

Dell Optiplex GX620 computer - Windows 7 with 55 cm LED screen for HamRadio de Luxe trx-control and other amateur programs (digital modes), logbook etc.

The Signalink USB-modem for all digital modes.

For my favorit mode CW I use mostly the Vibroplex Iambic de Luxe paddle and a Logikey K-3 keyer.

I hope once we will meet each other on the band in a nice cw qso.
