Box in the middle of the H-frame with: Preamp, HF400 coaxrelais and Powersplitter. The stacking cables are each 6m 1/2" Cellflex coax. Sunnoise is abt. 9dB SFU >80

Under construction: Terrestrial station for 23, 13, 9 and 6cm with 95cm dish and 4 band ring dish feed (planning to be QRV summer 2014)

Terrestrial station for 1296, 2320, 3400 and 5760 Mhz with 95cm dish f/d 0.5 and 4 band ring dish feed (RF Hamdesign)

4 band ring dish feed by RF Hamdesign.

95cm dish f/d 0.5 for 1296, 2320, 3400 and 5760 Mhz4 band ring dish feed with

3400 and 5760 Mhz DB6NT Transverters, will be used for both EME and Terrestrial.

IF 28 & 144 Mhz Transverter Switch Unit for 1296, 2320, 3400, 5760 and 10368 Mhz

  • QRV on 14, 21, 28 and 50Mhz with dipole indoor !!
  • No antenna 144 Mhz up at this moment.

432 Mhz Array : 8 x 24el. 6.6L Yagis: Gain > 23dBd used from12-09-1987 to 07-06-1992

Had to take the antennas down for our new house !!

1296 Mhz EME from Radio Observatory Simon Stevin QTH: Hoeven

  • 7.5 meter dish with VE4MA/W2IMU feed, 250W output from 2 x 2C39BA watercooled, Preamp MGF1302.
  • The first QSO was made on 03-02-1990 at 20.23 UTC with HB9SV 559/449
  • The last QSO was made on 14-01-1995 at 22.05 UTC with GW3XYW 449/449
  • We made 161 QSO's with 65 different stations off the moon on 1296 Mhz

1296Mhz QRPP EME !!! with 1 x 23el. F9FT Yagi 14� dBd gain.

  • On 03-05-1998 at 18.25 UTC I worked TM8EME with 529/529 signals !!
  • My rig only 1 x 23 el. F9FT yagi, gain 14� dBd, 150W @ ant. and MGF1302 preamp. See Photo
  • The 23 el. F9FT yagi was mounted on a small table with a fixed elevation of 53� deg. You can also see the relaisbox with preamp under the table. The PA was in my shack.
