Hello there,

My name is Ed and my XYL is Suus PD3BOE.

I used to listen to short wave radio and to amateur radio qso’s. After sometime i got my own SWL number (NL13500) and could sent QSL cards. But
a couple moths later, i wanted to make my own qso's on the bands, and started learning for the Novice license. In March 2009 i passed the exam for my Novice license PD3KOE, my XYL Suus had passed the exam to and became PD3BOE.

But after 3 years using the Novice license, i wanted the Full license, then i could use more power and more frequenties.
So i started to study for the exam.
In 2013 i passed the exam for the Full license and the call was changed into PA3KOE.

I am working with FT-2000 and a Alpha Delta DX-CC antenna.

On the picture is my second QSL card.
I get a lot of laughs from my callsign in the Netherlands, because the suffix KOE is dutch for cow.

In the picture it's me and my son Bram (born 21-2-2003), the next generation radio amateur.
When i am turning on my radio he's there next to me.
Bram loves to listen on the bands. And if all goes to plan, he is taking over my old callsign PD3KOE.
But first he has to be twelve years old to get the license and pass the test ;-)

Bram has now it's own SWL number NL-13523, if you will, please send him a QSL card to with your greetings. He really enjoy's them.
