Holder also for PE1EVI, PD0CFN, PD5MAR (my wife), PD2TIM (my son).

Hi All,

Thanks for visiting my info.

I started with Hamradio around my 17th birthday. Like most people in those years i started with listening on shortwave. Most of it on Hambands, but occasional airplanes- and shipcomm's as well.

Within a few years i married, she is a Ham as well (PD5MAR) and got my first license with callsign PD0CFN. Within 2 years i upgraded to PE1EVI. That was fun. A few years ago we got vanity callsigns so I decided to get a simple to remember one, specially in a pile-up like the one i have now PE9PE.

During the many years i'm a Ham i joined a number of DX-Peditions like 9H9PA and D68C. I also teamed up with other Hams to bring specialcallsigns on the air like: PC100H and PB6EU. Recently i also was one of the many operators who activated PI25BEA and PI25TRIX, due to celibrate 25years of Queen Beatrix in the Netherlands.

I visited many countries for business and a number i was active from.

It's rewarding to meet so many different people and for sure Hamradio made it a lot easier in many cases.

QSL cards via bureau or direct are ALL 100% answered. QSL cards by SWL's are also appreciated.

For the week of May 20th till May28th 2006 i am the QSL manager of PI50JUT.

In the week of July 4th till July 11th 2008 i operated SI9AM. All QSL's have to go via SM3CVM. I made 5100 QSO's and thank everybody for their company on the bands during my stay.

On regular occasions i get questions how to reach me via MSN or Skype.

For those here are my details.

MSN: pe9pe@wanadoo.nl

SKYPE: ham.pe9pe

Best 73 All and hope to work you.

PY2KW, Nelson Pala was a phys. ed. teacher at Avare' C.E.E.N.Cel. Joao Cruz High School. He eventually became the principal and was admired by parents and students. He taught me and other students the first steps of marching band, volleyball and in the art of Ham Radio.
