Some information about myself:

Since I got my Amateur Radio Licence in 1986 I haven't been very frequently on the radiowaves. I finished my Shack in the garden in 2006 and opened it for Radio Amateurs in the region. We meet eachother every Thursday afternoon in the PH4RTM Shack. We chat about experiences on the airwaves and about technical problems that one might have with radio’s or computers.

The Shack is stuffed with all types of transceivers to work on frequencys from 160 meters up to 23 centimetres. Outside you will find aerials for all those frequencies and as the location of the Shack is 40 metres above sealevel, everyone can make the transmissions (QSO’s) that he likes. As an added bonus in the Shack we have a collection of ex-army radio’s like the GRC-9 with amplifiers as the LV-80, and the type 3030 from the Dutch Army.
Even the newer types 3600 (1966-1989) and 4600 which is still in use by some Army units.

Also, lets not forget theECHOLINKstation we own witch works on frequency144,5625and has node number503636. This Station is always on the air 24/7.

We are also responsible for the region repeaterPI3SRTon channel R0 (145,600 MHz, subaudio 71.9 hz) located on the tallest Flat in Venlo at a height of 75 meter above Sea-level. This repeater is also heard via internet on a 24/7 live audio stream; go towww.ch73.net, live audio streams and then PI3SRT.

Please feel free to visit our website of PH4RTM to find out more about the activities around the club:

The whole team of PH4RTM hopes to hear you on the waves or see you on the waterfall. 73 and good DX!
