Donatie repeaters Rotterdam PI2RTD-PI3RTD-PI6RTDen de twee bakens PI7RTD (English version scroll down)

De Vereniging Repeaters Rotterdam (V.R.R.) heeft drie repeaters in beheer op het Erasmus Medisch Centrum (Erasmus MC) in Rotterdam. Aan deze repeaters wordt regelmatig onderhoud gepleegd en er worden verbeteringen en uitbreidingen aangebracht, wat uiteraard kosten met zich mee brengt. Tevens is de locatie waar de repeaters staan niet gratis. Er moet huur, stroom en een verzekering worden betaald, wat jaarlijks zo'n 1000 euro kost van de verenigingskas.

Per 1 januari 2010 gaan de ATOF's (Aanvullende Toestemmingen Onbemand Frequentiegebruik) voor de huidige twee repeaters in goed overleg met het afdelingsbestuur en het HB van de VERON over naar de Vereniging Repeaters Rotterdam die inmiddels is opgericht. Dat is o.a. nodig omdat het HB van de VERON als beleid heeft dat men niet verantwoordelijk wil zijn voor de consequenties van onbemande stations. De Vereniging Repeaters Rotterdam is opgericht om de repeaters te kunnen behouden en zelfs uit te breiden. Helaas heeft dat wel tot gevolg dat het Agentschap Telecom ons hiervoor een rekening stuurt van € 146 per repeater.

De V.R.R.heeft op 6 mei 2010 de 23 cm repeater operationeel gemaakt, de bakens op 13 en 3 cm zijn nu ook qrv. Ook hiermee zijn kostenà € 146 per ATOF gemoeid. In totaal moet de V.R.R. dus € 730 opbrengen boven de normale huur-, stroom- en verzekeringskosten. De ATOF's voor de twee bakens worden gesponsord door een prominent lid van de microgolfgemeenschap, maar de kosten voor de ATOF's van de repeaters (€ 438,-) moeten door de V.R.R. worden opgebracht.

Donaties van de gebruikers om deze hoge kosten te dragen en de repeaters in de lucht te houden, zijn van harte welkom op het bankrekeningnummer 1181.49.040 (IBAN NL12 RABO 0118 1490 40 BIC RABONL2U) t.n.v. Vereniging Repeaters Rotterdam (VRR) te Zevenhuizen, onder vermelding van "donatie" en eventueel uw call of luisternummer.

The Repeaters Association Rotterdam (V.R.R.) has three repeaters under its control, on the Erasmus Medical Centre (Erasmus MC) in Rotterdam. The repeaters are regularly serviced, updated and expanded. There are costs associated with these activities, and there are also ongoing fixed costs. A rental charge is payable to the Erasmus MC and we pay electricity and insurance costs which amount in total to about € 1,000 a year, paid from the club account.

With effect from January 1st, 2010, the ATOF’s ( Supplementary Approval Unmanned Frequency Use) for the present two repeaters, in consultation with VERON Headquarters, were transferred to the Repeaters Association Rotterdam; this has already taken place. This became necessary because VERON HQ has a policy that they do not want responsibility for unmanned stations.

The Repeaters Association Rotterdam is liable for maintenance and any expansion of the repeaters.
Unfortunately the Telecom Agency charges € 146 for each repeater and beacon.

On May 6, 2010, the S.R.R. (V.R.R.) made the repeater on 23 cm operational. The beacons on 13 and 3 cm are olso qrv now. A beacon on 24 GHz will become available as soon as possible.

We also need to pay € 146 for each of these repeaters/beacons,(total € 730), in addition to the usual payment for rent, electricity and insurance. Two SAUFU (ATOF’s) for the beacons are being sponsored by a prominent member of the microwave community, but the costs for the SAUFU (ATOF’s) must be paid by the S.R.R., being € 438.
