Dear Ham Radio Op, Good day!

I´m Fernando, 38 years old (may 2014), Electrical Engineer, married with Alessandra and we have three daughters...Beatriz(13), Catherine(11) and Laura(06).

Started on the radio in 1999 at CB, after VHF (2m) and in 2000 arrived at HF bands.

Interrupted my time on the radio in 2003 and returned in 2009 from apartment building station and beach home. In May 2013 decided to search a nice place for contesting and after to find it, I disassembled my home station and beach station and,  together other 04 friends we constructed the called ALTO DA SERRA CONTEST STATION. This station is located only 35 kilometers far from Sao Paulo Downtown and from there I'm operating DX and major contests.

Now I changed the QTH to another building and installed a tower on the top of it with 60 meters from the ground (20 floors):

02 el. KLM 40m

03 el. 12/17m

06 el. KT34XA 10/15/20m

The main issue is the terrific noise level from city center. Sorry if I can't copy you from home.

Some pictures:

During contests (when is possible) I change QTH to our Contest Station (www.altodaserradx.com) and from there without any noise good results will come. (I hope so!).

Thanks for visiting and hope to listen you on the air.

73's,

Fernando / PY2LED / PX2B
