I´m 36 years old (may 2012), married with Alessandra and we have three daughters.Beatriz(12), Catherine(09) and Laura(05).

During last years (from 2002 to 2009), I decided to put the amateur radio on the ice because my job and care with wife and daughters.

But since 2009, I created some time on my agenda to return, at least in some contests specially CQWPXSSB and CQWW SSB.

In November, 2011, I decided to install a tower and antennas on the apartment building where I live and I´m more flexible to turn on the radio every day during the nights.

Below a picture from the tower and antenas:

It was also necessary to create an space in the apartment to set up a shack. This task was very very difficult since our daughters is having a lot of toys. We make a "5S" on a small room, donated a lot of old toys and the shack was created end of November 2011.

After some improvements, the shack is having a new look in Sao Caetano do Sul/SP, apartment building:

CONTEST STATION:

Regarding contests, we are having a beach home and there we installed end of 2012 two towers dedicated only for 10 meters. On the Tower 02, 24 meters high, we have a stack of03 monobanders, 6 el. eachspaced 06 meters each one. Tower1 we have a 5 el. monobander for 10 meters. All this four monobanders are connected to a Four Stack box (http://www.hamplus.com/4stack.htm)made by HamPlus in Brazil and this excelenttool allow us to select any combination for transmit and reception. This is very useful and fast in contests, depending on the propagation, angles, noise level, staticand etc. See below some pictures:

Tower 01 - 05 elements monobander for 10 meters, boom section lenghtaround9 meters(model YU7EF - www.yu7ef.com- Made by myself)

Tower 02 - 6 x 6 x 6 el. for 10 meters, boom section lenghtaround11 meters- Individual Rotators - Model by G0KSC - http://www.g0ksc.co.uk/(Made by PY1FB)
