I was interested in communicating via radio with my 15 years, when first I saw my cousin with a radius of PX (Peacock Station). I was fascinated. I told my father that I would win one, and he promptly answered me. (This good father huh?? Hi hi hi). Soon I graduated near the DENTEL and 78 were already operating. But one day, I visited a friend who also are amateur radio and PX (PY4QA-Weima), and she told me what being amateur. And then showed me what it was love at first vista.CW. I tried once to learn, and in Nov of 88 did my test, getting my first in Jan 89 as a Class B license PT9CEL (MS). Abandoned the PX, for what fascinated me most in amateur radio, was the various ways in which we, in addition to "talk", which at the PX I could only do. Went for 18 years, PY4CEL and today I am with the amateur class PY4XX indicative, I live in Juiz de Fora - MG. Like a lot of DX on CW and International Competitions.
