I'm from 2013-05 also qrv 50 MHz with IC706 mk ll, and a 6 el. yagi just above roof of the house.

 Here my old 144 MHz antennas from the start of EME 2002. Most of them in the air since 1975.

Tower is 15 m. (50 ft) and the whole system mounted on a sledge with motor winch.


.My antennas now. Both systems are stacked for max gain, 1/2 wl apart and separate feeders down

Photo 3. 2009-09 _ now, there is 4x10 el. 1.6 wl Vertical pol. inside on 2" fiberglass tubes.

Two 30 m. (100 ft) 1 5/8" feeders down, 0.25 dB loss each.

Rotator: Alpha Spid RAK. Tracking with F1EHN sw. Manual elevation with actuator.

Rig: two FT225RD's (one in rx mode and spare) + hm PA: 2x4cx250B / 800W out.

LNA's and switches down in shack.



WAS award from ARRL received 2013-03-12. Last state Nebraska worked 2012-12-29.
